Team Brasa won 1st in No Gi and 2nd in Gi. Despite we won a lot more we were out numbered. I would like to say how impressed and moved I am by the heart of my students, teammates and Coaches. Not only in the combat, but in the ringside support. Congrats to Coach Comprido on another doubleGold, and to Marcello as well. Big thank you to Scott Huston, Jonatas Novaes, and Israel Reyes for ringside coaching and advice. You guys were lifesavers!!! Very impressed with my students. My staff DJ, Bobby, and Josh. We all won Gold. DJ a triple by Gi and No Gi plus closed out absolute with Steve. Mike Carrol came back to win both absolute Golds. So moved by the efforts of Jill, Fran, Ryan, Buzz, Eric, Jeff, Jim, Giulio, Bill Hill, and Tom Mc Coy. I feel extremely lucky to have you all as students. Truly have so much respect for you guys and the courage and tenacity you all showed. Very proud of you all. You guys gave me the strength and motivation to fight today after my injury yesterday and capture the Gold. And most of all thank you Angela Valdes for everything you do that makes it possible for me to live this dream:) God bless you all. Get some rest. Ossss.
