Team Futaba driver Nic Case is getting closer to the 200mph - TopicsExpress

Team Futaba driver Nic Case is getting closer to the 200mph mark everyday!! Here is his latest attempt...and TRUSTing his 4PKSR the entire time! Here’s the story on my latest run with the R/C Bullet in Utah on June 27th & 28th 2014. It was Hot and the wind picked up like clockwork at 1pm. Since it was a cross-wind, that meant – 1pm = done for the day. The 7th was scary to me. The car was drifting to the left, and I had the wheel full right as I accelerated, but I realized that wasnt going to be enough to make it through the trap. So I hit the dual-rate over-ride and continued to accelerate through the trap on a slight diagonal.... ----- Not what I wanted to do…. Let me explain The asphalt there is about 40 feet wide (total), but the line without a bump is only about 8 feet wide. A very narrow envelope. On that run I HIT the bump –---- but the Bullet stayed on the ground. Woo Hoo! The 6th run (196mh run) looked so fast! (I wish I had video from my view-point- maybe next time....) All and all, did not break a thing. Thats an accomplishment - in and of it self... All of the equipment work great! Just ran out of time to go faster....................... To say this is a lot of work, ---- IS an Understatement. https://youtube/watch?v=iHjhORooHEw
