Team news for tomorrow troops... John LEE WALLACE remains a doubt for tomorrow’s League One trip to Brechin after withdrawing from the Scotland squad last weekend. The full-back had to pull out of Gordon Strachan’s group for the game with Croatia at Hampden because of a minor knee injury. He will go through a fitness test this afternoon at Murray Park before a decision is taken on whether or not he will travel north to the team hotel in Angus. The Light Blues management remain optimistic the 26-year-old can play some part in the meeting with Ray McKinnon’s side. But if he’s unable to feature, the likelihood is Stevie Smith will come in to make his fourth competitive start since returning to the club. Dean Shiels is definitely out of the game at Glebe Park with a knee problem which dates back to the medial ligament injury he suffered last season. The Northern Ireland international is struggling to regain full fitness and is being afforded extra time to work on the issue at Murray Park. Ross Perry and Chris Hegarty remain out with ankle problems as they make slow progress themselves in their rehabilitations. Manager Ally McCoist reported that each player had suffered a setback in that regard recently and they too are continuing to work at Auchenhowie. Otherwise, the Light Blues will have a full complement of players to choose from against the Hedgemen, who they beat 4-1 on the opening day of the League One campaign. Arnold Peralta – who helped Honduras qualify for the World Cup – Lewis Macleod and Andy Little have all returned to Glasgow unscathed. And each man is in contention to retain his place in the starting XI which beat Ayr United 2-0 last time out at Somerset Park.
