Technically, I think I was supposed to be studying potential - TopicsExpress

Technically, I think I was supposed to be studying potential interview questions yesterday. That wouldve been the textbook teacherly thing to do. Facebooking for quidditch can wait, right? (I dont think Im supposed to be posting now, either.) Instead, I wrote poetry for Stephen Ralph—and, importantly, NOT for David McCarthy Moyer—at the behest of Elleanor Eng, who also teamed up with Aakash Anand to transform my offer of manual labor drudgery into something awesome like a cooking contest and a weekend in Miami. Nathan Love forced me to dig into my bag of Biblical allusions to entice his charity, Rob Snitch commissioned me for a written work to-be-determined, and Tommy McPhail reassured me that Im okay (more than okay?) at campaigning for things—and, from VT, Koh, Pat, and Coleman stepped up with ideas and support for my Canadian excursion. (Especially Koh, whose presence in Seattle opens up a ton of possibilities for what wouldve been an end-of-trip day stuck sitting in Sea-Tac.) tl;dr - Im feeling the love, Im well-rested, and Im wearing the school colors for this job opening. This interview doesnt know whats about to hit it.
