Technology and Tradition Star for Trinidad and Tobago at World Travel Market 2013 Over 300 visitors to Trinidad and Tobago’s booth at World Travel Market 2013 lined up to take pictures at the popular interactive screen. With the added draw of two beautiful Carnival masqueraders in full costume, visitors stood in front of the screen and found themselves transported unto beaches and other beautiful scenes from both islands. Visitors looked on in awe and wonder at themselves standing on beautiful Store Bay in Tobago, cocktail in hand or in the midst of Carnival in Trinidad and were further treated to a free printed picture and the added option of uploading the images to Facebook or sent to their email inboxes right on the stand. One visitor described it as both ‘surreal’ and ‘great’ and could not wait to show the picture to his family. Later on in the afternoon, dancers from Tobago showed off their skill with a traditional limbo dance which saw them going under a bar inches from the ground flat on their backs. Well dressed women and men in suits shed their shoes and put on their bravery to take part in the limbo and all were ably assisted by the Tobagonian dancers. The events on the Trinidad and Tobago stand at World Travel Market 2013 promise to keep all visitors enthralled and entertained and give an excellent snapshot of what the lovely islands of Trinidad and Tobago has to offer.
