Teina Bishop officially resigned as Cabinet minister yesterday. Radio Cook Islands did not receive any other explanation for his resignation, but was present at the swearing in of his replacement Vaipae Vaipeka Tautu MP Mona Ioane at 3pm at Parliament. Ioane will inherit the balance of what remains in the support office of ex-minister Bishop which was originally $200,000 and his MP salary of $50 per annum changes to a Ministers salary of about $85k.
