Tel Aviv Wind Quintet Members: Flute: Roy Amotz; Oboe: Yigal Kaminka; Clarinet: Danny Erdman; Bassoon: Nadav Cohen; Horn: Itamar Leshem Tel Aviv Woodwind Quintet was founded in 2009, aiming to bring change in the chamber music landscape in Israel. Today, most of the repertoire that is being performed is for string quartets and piano, and the few groups that have wind players do not practice together regularily. Tel Aviv Quintet espires to bring the wind repertoire to the audience in Israel and abroad, including master pieces from the 19th and 20th century, as well as new works by Israeli composers. The Ensemble has given concerts in the best concert series in Israel and has cooperated with composers from the older and younger generation, among them Menahem Zur, Ari Ben Shabtai, and Amit Gilutz. In 2011 the ensemble won the prize of Eilam, Israel performers organization.
