Ten years ago My family and I witnessed this tornado, having spent the afternoon touring the Laura Ingalls Wilder exhibits in DeSmet, SD. That night was the scariest of my life! The next morning we viewed what was left of Manchester, SD and marveled at the power of that tornado. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the storm chasers who were there that day who died recently in Oklahoma.
