Ten years ago tomorrow I married donna shaver spurlock , its a day I will never forget despite her thinking I do forget it at times, it was a beautiful fall day on Nov 1 and we had busy hustling the day before to move all my stuff into her house in Crossville ,Tn . frantic and nervous about taking the leap for a third time I began to panic a bit that is until she came to the top of the stairwell just before we had to leave for the church, to meet her parents for the first time and then get married. honestly my heart stopped and I gazed upon her also scared and I honestly could not believe this beautiful women was crazy enough to marry a man like me, just a simple truck driver that she met on match . I was taken back by how beautiful she was and still is, but on that day for just a moment to me time seemed to stand still and the way the morning sunlight was coming through the living room window and shone on her like glitters of gold reflecting off every inch of her it was a moment untouched by time for me and a perfect picture that to this day is frozen in my minds eye. Fast forward a decade later and although were older and broke were still together and going strong. She believes in me more then anyone Ive every known and I can see it every day. Not sure why or how god decided to bless me with her but each day I thank him for the ultimate gift of love that he has given me. I know if no one else on this whacked out planet has faith in me or believes in me , she will and with that brings me fear of failure at every turn , donna is my world and the absolute love of my life. Even when she thoroughly pisses me off, lol. Donna shaver spurlock I love you beyond the limits of time and in life as in death we will continue our journey together hand in hand. Still think your crazy to want such a life as we live but yea you signed up for it ;)
