Ten years ago when it all started i was just a parent of a tiny little kindergarten TES student, and as weeks went by on that very same year in Nov of 2004 i witnessed an individual who was not just someone who works in the office or an employee of TES, i witnessed an individual who has the passion to share her knowledge through songs, dance & chants everyday as i picked up my child from school rushing cause she either has a show at one of the hotels or needing to make sure she doesnt get punished for making it late to practice, finally one day no show, no practice more like a free day for Natibu i decided to hang out with my mom waited while she was prepping for the next school day, hearing drums pounding, guitars stringing and beautiful voices singing away truly inspired me i peeked in a little here and there just to see what was going on or where they were coming from of course i wasnt so much of a person that would just stand in and watch what was going on it was more like a dicipline learned from another instructor known as kumo benji santiago or being allowed to watch another group while practicing that was the respect we learn to give to another instructor. After the third year my little kinder was no kinder anymore just ending her 2nd grade year in TES says mommie i really love what ms. tainatongo is teaching her dancers in her own words i want to join her group, so of course being a stranger and not knowing exactly who this ms tainatongo is i asked my mom to inquire about it and at the time she was only training 4th & 5th graders my girl will only be in the 3rd grade but in March of 2007 an opportuinity arised and she was given a chance to find herself, learn about her culture, 2years later another became inspired although in the beginning she refused to look at her, now she could barely go a day without seeing her, Bob you have stood strong for yourself and most especally for your dancers, thank you for all that you have done because of you my girls are who they are today, thank you for the dicipline you continue to instill witnin them hu sen guaiya hao. Congratulations on your 10years and going strong watch out world Kenisse Duenas is the next version of Bobbie Tainatongo thanks to uncle frank rabon for visualizing in his own words as he says sen bonito esti kummanta kalan ha si bobbie.
