Terrance L. Maloney asked moi to post some pics of my syncro doka w/ slide on pop top camper. I got this idea from numerous ones I had seen in pics from Europe where they are much more prevalent. There are many ways to do this, & I simply saw a full size pickup truck poptop for sale cheap in my small rural town in Downeast Coastal Maine. The whole deal was an experiment, as I already have a 1984 2 wd Westy in the stable & am happy w/ it over the last 12 years. I got the syncro doka when I retired to Maine after selling my 63 Doka & 65 Westy before the move. I am a manufacturer of VW Truck Tilts, or canvas canopies, which VW originally sold as options, but I never made them for T-3 trucks, only 1952-79 VW trucks. So of course I needed a T-3 truck to make a canopy, Now offer those as well. Anywho, here are some pics of my rig per request & some pics from Europe-as you can see my Titanic is not as huge as some of these truck rigs in Europe!
