Terrorism Has No Specific Definition BY SULTANI - JUNE 23, 2013 7:15 AM - 0 COMMENTS Since the beginning of the human race, conflict has been a part of human existence as its merit-ability has been witnessed all around the world. These conflict and civil wars are named and defined according to their specific characters like Cold war, Afghan Anglo war, Nigerian civil war, World War 2 and etc. So the word terrorism is also related with conflict, and it became famous after 9/11 attack. Until now there is no specific meaning and definition to define Terrorism. The meaning and definition of terrorism change from one place to place every country and group define it according to their own ways and interest so no universal definition for terrorism. US define terrorism is an act against the interest of US and it is allies it may be in US or any other countries. Taliban define Terrorism is a brutal act to invade other countries and kill tens of thousands of people in order to protect their own interest without any reason. Muslim define Terrorism is an act of ignorance which create fear in a society to gain power through violence. Pakistan define terrorism is an act against the interest of Pakistan may be inside or outside of the country. Refugees across the Globe define terrorist are those who take us to the prison like police while police use word terrorist for those illegal refugees which come in a country without any legal document. The above explanation give us the idea that there is no specific definition, Somehow the word Terrorism is defined “To victimizing the society, fueling fear and create violence is called Terrorism.” Terrorism in the fear that is placed inside everyone. Terrorism does not subscribe to a singular race, religion, method or agenda. It is neither inherently foreign nor domestic. All terrorists have exactly one thing in common: The goal of causing fear. My belief is that yes, committing an act of intentional terror, increasing violence or invading other countries without any reason is absolutely makes someone a terrorist. But unfortunately now the word Terrorism becomes very common each country label it is enemies a terrorist and start to defeat them by getting fund from international community. According to Sultani “Terrorism is very difficult to define but I want to explain it in example When someone take something from a child by force so the man seems to be a terrorist for a child but man thought that these things will harm the child if he or she use it.”
