Hi, Since entering my 30s and having my first baby, my skin has been on a roller coaster the past couple of years. I switched to a natural hand made skin care and used it on and off for a couple of years (it was not cheap). Needless to say, I switched back and forth between the expensive handmade (good, but not great) and the natural skin care brand that can be found at every drug store around the USA. During my pregnancy my skin was honestly, quite fantastic, which it never was during my twenties (acne and redness). While nursing my skin was still looking pretty good, but I wanted the glow I had at pregnancy. I started following more real food and healthy blogs and heard about oil cleansing and not much later heard about Primal Life Organics. I thought, that stuff looks too expensive (especially, on one income since Im a stay at home mom) for me, and being the cheap skate that I am I decided to plunge into oil cleansing. I did oil cleansing and a mostly clean diet with a daily probiotic for about 6 months. I was mostly pleased with it during the drier, colder months, but once summer hit I struggled with finding the right combo of oils for my skin and not look like an oil slick. I once again went back to the drug store products for a month then decided to switch to buy the good, but not great natural handmade product. Used that until it was gone and skin was ok. So, when I was trying to decide to buy more or finally give PLO a try, I finally gave PLO a try. I bought the bare primal face wash and moisturizer and body package with the sensitive lavender deodorant and hand repair. I was pretty excited and optimistic. First night I used it I couldnt believe the lather I got from the face wash and how clean my face felt, not greasy like with oil cleansing. The bare face moisturizer just melted into my skin and I was in awe at how my pores just disappeared. Excited to wake up the next morning and see the same glow in my skin that I had at pregnancy. I did at first apply too much moisturizer and would have greasy hair in the morning, so I contacted Trina for help and she said to use way less than you think. Once I did that its been heaven ever since. The deodorant was great too, smells amazing and take some adjusting to as well on how to best apply it, move it slowly and let it melt into your skin so application doesnt hurt. Also, I found another great use for the hand repair; I use it on my feet as well and put it on before going to bed and just slip some socks on and you wake up to soft feet. I have been using PLO for a month now and even that dreaded time of the month my skin is looking better than I could ever remember it looking! I now cant imagine ever living without this skin care system and deodorant! I look forward to trying more of PLO great products and Im trying to work up the nerve next to ditch my natural shampoo and give dirty poo a try. Thank you so much for your genius products!
