I am truly grateful for the clients that I have and the recent surge of inquires that I have gotten on custom and tiered cake orders. What I need folk to understand is that these cakes take a lot of work and depending on the detail, it can take DAYS to complete. If I give you a price I have already taken into consideration that we are FAMILY, friends, or associates. Supplies cost money, hell the BOX your cake goes in costs money and just like you go to work, do a task(s), and you get PAID for your time, I require the same. If it makes you feel better, call cake boss or charm city cakes...after you pay for the consult and get their prices for what you want (I am sure your will be down scaling your request), you may be revisiting me. My question is if I give EVERYBODY the homeboy hook up, WHAT BUSINESS am I doing? Do you tell your employer to shave 20 hours off your 40 hour a week pay check, and you dont need a hour lunch break just give you 15 mins? My point is you dont dicker on price when you go into Wal Mart, Target, Macys the grocery store (which ever one you shop at) the HAIR STORE, when getting bike parts, copin those Jordans WHATEVER if you want it, you pay the price and carry your tail on home. Now I will work with you but I certainly WILL NOT WORK FOR CRACK HEAD PRICES! I would love KRK to be a part of your day, (my cakes are DAMN GOOD) yet I need to be properly compensated for my talent. If I make the choice TO GIVE IT TO YOU thats on me, dont expect it. If it means saving the relationship we have by NOT doing business then so be it. ~Sincerely Kandi :)
