Textile and collage artist Hilary Beattie shared the following process with us! I make the (Gelli) prints using an opaque fabric paint - high quality and very opaque. I then used some acrylic medium to add some extra marks where I thought the print looked a bit dull! Lastly, I brush on copious quantities of dye .. I love that bit. The paint resist the dye, as does the acrylic medium to some extent. You cant predict outcomes, but its very exciting! hilarybeattie.co.uk/
