Thank You to the City of Grand Rapids plow drivers for widening the streets in the neighborhood. No one has reported that their vehicle was plowed in....and to our knowledge no vehicles were towed (tho some were ticketed). Gracias! Salute! Thanks! Thank Yous also need to go out to the residents who helped to get the cars off the streets by flyering. Dusty, Duane, Gerald and Austin...you are awesome. Thanks too, to our friends at Fulton Street Farmers Market, GRPS and Heritage Netherlands Reformed Church for generously agreeing to let our residents use the parking lots. Digging out, when needed, was no fun...and some people had to do it more than once BUT the streets are the better for it. They are clearer, safer and accessible for first responders, etc. With any luck Spring will come with a slow thaw and residents will not have to go about renting canoes to get around. Thanks again to everyone who made this experience less painful than it could have been :)
