Thank you...... 1. God, who gave me comfort and peace at 3:00 in the morning just as some anxiety about being trapped between 4 trucks set in, and for leading me to leave my key under the mat so that my neighbor had access to Aria last night and this morning. 2. The lady who let me use her restroom outside of Montevallo. 3. The truck driver who knocked on my window at 1:00 am and suggested that I come sit in her cab for warmth. (She provided much entertainment.....she talked my ear off)! 5. The water cup in my car. 6. My 5-speed car. I love Violetta so much. She really took care of me. I was able to climb and drive through places that gave others a hard time. 7. The service workers who cleared some of the roads so we could begin to move. 8. My music which provided some entertainment during the daylight hours. 9. For the Shell station in Bessemer. 10. For the Waffle House in Alabaster. And most important: 10. To all my friends and family who kept me company and prayed for us. I am so grateful for all of oh who reached out to me and checked in.. When I wake up from a nap, Im calling Burger Kings corporate office. The store in Montevallo closed the door our face as several of us asked to use the restroom before they went home. In such a state, they should make an exception.
