Thank you!! All of you! Today has been a very interesting and emotional day. I was contacted by a friend this morning telling me that she would like to talk about allergy bullying and was wondering if she could refer to Landons bullying issues. Im sure that some of you may have noticed that I posted to a conversation I started years ago. I did this so that she could have what I had vented about when Landon was getting bullied. While I was going back that far in my Facebook life, I got to see how many struggles that weve had in the last few years. I got to read about finding out Landons test results on his asthma test (was a scale of 1-20, he rated 14). I was scared and crushed! How many times he had an allergic reaction, how scared I was to reintroduce a food or simple things such as; Christmas, Halloween, Easter, birthdays, vacations... Having my boy run in the house so scared because he thought his bully was trying to kill him! It has been a roller coaster ride, thats for sure! Reading my post and the update post to his bullying issues made me so sad, angry and hurt that my son, who I feel has been through more then enough, had to go through all of that. Hes come so far, gotten so strong and knows his allergies and is confident even without me there by his side now. At this point in my day... I got that amazing email!!! I was floored, what perfect timing! I want to thank everyone who voted today and everyone who is planning on voting for him in the weeks to come! You know, its not the prospect of the trip Im most happy about... Its my little man! I couldnt be more proud of him. This contest is wonderful and I hope for Landon that he wins but, for me, just knowing how far we have come in the past 10.5 yrs is more then enough. Which brings me back to the beginning of this whole post.... THANK YOU! I have some of the most amazing and beautiful friends in my life supporting me and Landon everyday. No matter what life brings... joy, sadness, heartache, anger, love and laughter I truly and forever love you all. My family is my rock!!! I have an amazing husband who would move mountains for the kids and I. Vienna, my little sweetheart, who wants her brother to always feel healthy and my mom and sister for putting up with me and my craziness. My in-laws, who are pretty amazing, they showed me love and welcomed me so quickly into their family. I know this is getting long and sappy... So, thank you for being there for me, so I can be there for Landon. Thank you for being there for Landon and loving him, supporting him and teaching him!!
