Thank you Carl Daikeler Why does this years Summit theme Never Give Up mean more than a slogan? Because you and me, all of us, at some time, will want to quit. Our fitness program. Our portion control. Getting a daily dose of dense nutrition with Shakeology. Helping people. Even working toward our own financial freedom. We all get resistance or get tired of it or simply are out of the mood of working so hard. And you will want to quit. But heres the thing: Theres another reality of life that we cannot deny. Within days, weeks or months of the decision to quit - the decision that was so well rationalized on why its ok to stop pursuing that goal - the reality of why we started in the first place will return, and well be truly, deeply, PISSED that we gave up when all we needed was to stay with it, step by step to make it to the next phase. Instead were left with starting over, again. Your dream of having a body you look at in the mirror and dont judge, the dream of having enough energy to wake up with spark and go all day without needing to rest, the dream of have total independence from a boss and someone telling you what to do - true financial independence where you dont have to look at price tags or live with any relationship stress related to money - those dreams will all still be there regardless of whether you quit, or whether you remember your goal and stoke it with an even hotter flame. So dont quit. Lets not let each other quit on our dreams. Some of are getting on a cruise right now. I wish our whole team were here, although that would be a little snug. But the point is, I want you to have what you want, the body, the life, the freedom. But we both have to work for it. Ill keep working. You keep working. And lets not stop until were out of things to work for. Never. Give. Up.Why does this years Summit theme Never Give Up mean more than a slogan?
