Thank you Christie for sharing this. I was amazed and awed and moved by this dance piece. Really extraordinary and leads me to a question I have had for a while now... I know that we have seen a real explosion in dance over the past 20-30 years that has lead to performers and pieces like this. I am also pretty sure that not many dancers were moving like this 40+ years ago when I was young. So, my question is, has work of this type evolved stylistically and brought forth a change in training and movement discipline in order to make this kind of thing possible? Has human evolution played a part, in that, we are simply producing humans that can do this stuff nowadays? Is it owing to cross pollination of training from the fitness, gymnastic, figure-skating, street dancing worlds? Is it all of the above? And finally, I can see what beauty can be created by these movement abilities, but is it ALL a good thing or is this a very big check that a performer will have to pay later in life and is it worth it? Thanks in advance to any who answer here... I especially would like to hear from experts like; Astin Isbell, Christopher Boyd, Timothy Harling, Bobby Hedglin-Taylor, Kevin Burrows, Stephen Bulldozer Mosher,
