Thank you Cristus Spohn South for an awesome delivery today for one of our precious babies that decided to come a wee bit early! Its such a blessing to have good medical help when it is needed. As it turned out, this one did great even for coming early. So Mom was still able to birth with very few interventions and no pain meds. Baby was skin to skin in minutes and nursing like a champ right away. Not bad for Plan B! Its about the care not the catch! ~ At CCBC we work towards continuity of care and building bridges between the medical and midwifery model of care, so that every woman can get quality care under every circumstance! Weve come a long way in building those bridges (from both sides) and Im happy for days like today.
