Thank you Dawn for this post, I understand your comment about coming out of the closet with your like of country music...I too love county, my first exposure come when a big family, two brothers and their families from the Appalachians, moved into our European ethic neighborhood in the 1940s to work at the Foran foundry when the foundry got an army contact to make parts for ships...they brought with them their wonderful county music, even my cousin Paul Bugyi gave up his classical violin for the fiddle.......to me it was the music of the real working class of America.
