Thank you Equity, for giving me the time, ears, and telling me i am a good agent, one of a few in the industry willing to speak out if something is not right, able to communicate thoughts. I know I am a good Agent, I know I am more than able to converse at all levels, I know my talent, i work exceptionally hard as an agent, think outside the box, open.kind sincere, and a great believer in equality and diversity for all. I know that as an agent if there is a request via a client that request needs to be followed through, i also understand fully, that should a parent make a request to be on set with their child unpaid, knowing a professional employed chaperone is in place, given the current media and all re child abuse, it would be absolutely ludicrous of any agent, or professional acting as such in the industry to then state back to a parent, sorry this is the most ridiculous request every they will never be allowed to work via this establishment now or future on this basis, we have hundreds of kids pass through and no one has ever made such a ridiculous request ever. Telling this professional person that there is a policy document in place re protection of children set out via the heads of that establish in the public domain regarding safe guarding children on sets to be then told, that we do not have to follow those policy guide lines of protection, we work independent from them. Imagine the situation further down the line, seeing the media, of a situation that may or may not have happened and as such the parents have an email with a direct request from that agent, who in turn states that if you wish your child to work in the industry with unnamed etc, then you have to abide. Not a risk i am going to take ever sorry. I deal on a daily basis with many people in this industry, have an excellent first class working relationship, one which has helped grow kreative sufficient to take leads roles in feature films with the likes of Daniel Radcliffe, Julie Walters, Sir Ben Kingsley, Sienna Miller and gods how many more i could write in to that equation. No one ever speaks to me like they did form inside the golden triangle of reassured all sat with arms wrapped in wool. I would rather wear black any day and be a sheep of free standing knowing full well, that i has the presence of mind to speak out, fear is not in my vocabulary, even if the situation leaves me with shiver me timbers, my lament always Sunflowers dont hide they stand tall l I am standing tall , trust me.
