Im not a politically-motivated person, but because I have been asked by a number of my younger friends who admit they dont know the parties and the issues - I will make the line in the sand crystal clear on energy and the great shale gas debate of 2014: David Alward and the Progressive Conservatives are PRO shale gas. While youre hearing Frank McKenna speak (our former premier and a member of the Liberal party), he sides with David Alward on this debate. I wanted to clear up any confusion on this piece, as I understand it may feel backwards to some. Brian Gallant and the Liberals are challenging shale gas (by some reports) and against it completely (in other reports.) I know, like, and respect Brian - despite the fact I personally disagree with him on this important issue. The young people of our province WILL make this important decision, but we need to get out and we need to vote on Sept 22. #crunchtime #nbvotes CrunchTime NB
