Thank you, Mr. Policeman, for not giving me a ticket tonight. No, my car did not fully come to stop at the stop sign, and for that I sincerely apologize. A two hour drive back from my Moms turned into five (5) stops... Four (4) of those were to give my children food. I guess they have hit a growth spurt at the same time because neither could get enough to eat! Then, with 20 minutes left to go my daughter tells me she has to go potty and my son, well, lets just say he filled his diaper!!! With nowhere to stop besides a gas station that is questionably clean, my only option was to make it home! We were one (1) mile from home when you witnessed my rolling stop! Im not sure if you felt sorry for me since my car was full of food bags, dirty clothes, and Easter eggs; if you could smell my dilemma; or if you could hear the fear in my voice! Whatever the reason for letting me go... THANK YOU! Also, THANK YOU for sacrificing time with your family today, and everyday, to patrol our streets and keep our community safe! Happy Easter, Mr. Policeman!!!
