Thank you Murali Swaminathan for nominating me for the #IceBucketChallenge. Given that over 1.1 billion people dont have access to safe drinking water and over 4,000 children die from water related issues everyday and millions of women and children arent getting educated because instead of going to school they have to walk 3 hours each way to a well to get water for their families - not to mention a serious drought occurring in the US - it seems like a better opportunity to bring awareness to the most fundamental issue of WATER. Be more conscious of how you use water in your home, in your neighborhood and country and rally for causes like charity: water, Water.org and Thirst Project to help support the billions of people around the world who arent fortunate enough to be able to dump a bucket of clean, safe water on their heads. In lieu of dumping water on my head I donated to all three of the above organizations to support this critical cause and would urge you to do the same as well as help bring awareness to this issue when youre nominated. youtu.be/BCHhwxvQqxg
