Thank you Roy Singleton for date night! The movie was very enjoyable... However a few key notes before I rest. First off there was simply no reason to remove the mysterious man/father. The interpretation of Agony is by far my favorite ever and overall the best of the movie, the use of the waterfalls, the ripping off of shirts and 2 hot princes splashing water on each other, sorry I got lost there for a moment. If they had kept the pace of the OBC they could have kept all songs. Am I really to understand the the Witch got that upset for Last Midnight simply because Rapunzel ran off with her Prince and said I never want to see you again, um its called being a teenager. Visually it was spectacular and very well done and will make people want to see it live who will appreciate it even more so thats a win. My last and final note though, there is nothing in this moving that could not or was not done on stage and live. The OBC sets and costumes were probably one of the most intricate and enjoyable Ive ever seen. So yes go see it because you love the show, but yes it is not a superior interpretation by any means. You didnt ruin my memory but you did make me long to watch the OBC video right now :) oh and when this comes out on Netflix or DVD I am making Savannah Devereaux watch it so I can record in private the vile and evil that will spew forth solely for the entertainment it will bring to those of us who love to see her rants or eaves here on FB.
