Thank you all for the Happy Birthday wishes. 30 years old! Unbelievable! But while I am thinking of my age I want to pass the most important ideas that I have learned to be true. 1) I have been blessed to be married to a wonderful women who puts up with a lot! I mean anything from my work which could involve travel to having deer hanging in the barn. The saying behind a good man is an even better women... There is no doubt in my mind that is true. 2) The meaning of unconditional... I love my dog, my house, my life and thought I knew what unconditional was. I was wrong. The day my first child was born and I held him was the day I learned the true meaning of unconditional. 3) That a mess in my eyes can be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I look at our living room and see toys scattered all over and new stains on the carpet from sippy cups being knocked over. Usually I would cringe at that sight. Now I see laughter and memories. I see a beautiful mess! 4) After reading all this I am getting soft in my old age!
