Thank you all for the outpouring of love and prayers for our little Levi. We are settled in at St. Marys in Rochester,MN. He is most certainly in respiratory distress but at this time we dont know why. They have him on a cpap machine and will do further tests in the morning. Ronald McDonald house is making arrangements for us to stay. Lots of blood work and trying to determine if there is an infection. Staff is amazing and we are breathing a sigh of relief. It has been a very scary emotional day. Yesterday was total bliss and today many tears. We are so thankful to be here and are looking forward to answers tomorrow. Keep Ben and Emily Nieman in your prayers, this is tough on new parents. We are all staying tonight....and tomorrow we hope and pray for answers. On a happy note....as his blood oxygen level have come back into normal ranges he has made a night and day improvement. It is comforting to see him awake, mad and protesting! His color is a perfect pink and he is acting like a healthy baby!!
