Thank you all for your kind words. It mean more than you know! I - TopicsExpress

Thank you all for your kind words. It mean more than you know! I do have to address one comment that suggested I was only thinking of myself in my post yesterday and not others involved in the film. I address this not to debate her comments, but rather to give you a little insight into my process in making a movie. Every single movie Ive made has come from the heart and to some degree, opened a window to my soul, for me, and for anyone who should see the film. I was speaking to a friend today and came to the realization that writing is perhaps, for me, the most true way for me to express what is in my heart. (I think I do some of that here) It is unfiltered. So yes I ramble and make grammar and spelling mistakes. But the meaning of the words are the most true reflection of me. So in short, I dont do these movies, or more specifically the writing of them (where they start) with the idea of making money. I do just fine as an actor and believe me, its MUCH easier. That said, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, I have the best interest of those involved on my mind. I have three young guys who work closely with me on all our films. They are just starting out, have young families and a full life ahead. I do ALWAYS have that in mind. And I do look out for them. I have their needs alway close to my heart. So I do think about the others involved, including but surely not limited to our investors and the amazing crews that work on the films. But still, all that said, I MUST start with my heart and hope that the money will follow. Another huge lesson taught to me by my mom. When I decided to become an actor she gave her blessing but ONLY if I did it because i loved it and not for the money, the fame and all the trappings. Do what you love, do what is true to your heart, and the rest will follow. So yes, I am disappointed by the showing of our movie. I am upset for those who worked so hard along side me but still BELIEVE with all my heart that the journey of the movie is far from over. ALL OF YOU have made me feel certain of this. And truth be told, it was only in a few selected cities and most people, beyond what I have said here about the movie, dont even know about it. All that will change with the DVD when we launch our national campaign for it in the weeks ahead. It will, by what Ive been told, be available everywhere, stores, on line, all the place you would go to find the film. Also a television premiere is in the works. That too should be a great event. So for now I will take a deep breath and rest with that... your kind words and the assurances of those involved in the movie that the best is yet to come. And that everyone, everywhere will be able to see the movie. On a last note, the biggest reason I called my company Home Theater Films was in part an acknowledgment that money is tight and going to the movies is a costly outing, In response I believe we could deliver theater quality movies to the home directly where a family or family and friends could gather around, and at an affordable price, watch the movie together. Perhaps thats what is happening here and things are exactly as they are supposed to be. Mysterious ways!
