Thank you everyone for all of the birthday posts, texts, calls, and messages. Now that the celebration is over, it back to architecture and baking. Not a huge celebration for such a milestone birthday, and the day didnt start well, but its how you finish that matters. Baked my own cake, pumpkin spice, for an office celebration, and made my own dinner (Linguine Alfredo with shrimp and steak ), but I wouldnt have it any other way. Enjoyed the meal outdoors with my family in perfect evening weather. So, I want to spend the next 40 years growing in my relationship with Christ, being a better husband, a better father, a better person...its how you finish...
