Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! I read and truly appreciate every single one. I never say too much of anything personal on Facebook, but I felt like writing today as I was reflecting on what I’ve done for the last 32 years. I always joke about being “25” every birthday, but in reality, I love where I am today compared to when I was actually 25. I’ve done a lot and seen a lot! People go all different ways after high school and none is better than the other. But I am proud of “my” journey thus far. I’ve accomplished many things to make my parents and family proud and that’s good enough for me. I still want more, but in due time. I know next year on this same day, I will have done and seen even more and hopefully be alive to tell you about it. I’ve always been a pretty humble person, but sometimes you have to look at yourself and say “Damn self, you’ve lead a pretty awesome life so far.” Be proud of where you are and what you’ve done, not because you’re conceded, but because you actually are awesome! Every path you take is for a reason, it is for YOU, not anyone else. God places you and the people in your life exactly when and where they are supposed to be. Be better than you were yesterday and don’t stress so much… Life is going to happen whether you like it or not and it’s all about how you react to it. Smile more and focus on the good…. Cheers to another year of being “25” :-)
