Some of you may or may not know my grandmother. It has been my honor and pleasures to help make her last wish come true. She wanted to be at home and not in an “Old Folks Home” when she passed away. Well Tuesday morning her last wish came true as she went to heaven to be with Jesus and my grandfather peacefully in her sleep. It has been a very interesting year and a half on this journey with her. But I am happy she is in a better place. I have become almost a recluse as I have needed to be here constantly since Hospice came in last Summer and she need contest care. I will say this, get Hospice involved as soon as possible if you are going through this with a loved one, they will make things a little easier. Our group of Nurses and helpers; Bunnie, Lori, Karen, Chaplin Bill and Patrick her volunteer(just to name a few) were all a great help.
