Thank you, everyone, for your comments and likes on my new profile picture! Ill do just about anything to keep my ugly mug off any social media site - including my own! The profile picture is a representation of the book that as of right now has about 80,000 words in it. Now the fun really begins: proofreading, editing, and re-writing; then revisions and more editing. The editors will do their best to turn those 80,000 words into something more manageable to read. Then Ill see their work and sulk and pout,,, and then re-write the manuscript and send it back. And then itll come back with more changes and . . . . . . and its all necessary. As all the re-writing and revisions are going on, another group of folks will be working on an idea for the cover. Layout professionals will decide on the size dimensions of the book and what font style looks best. Niche marketing specialists will work on publicity strategies.Then the process of their ideas and my suggestions, and my ideas and their suggestions, go through more back-and-forth negotiations. And then somewhere, somehow, in less than six months a book will be released that will hopefully have taken my convoluted thoughts and made them somewhat presentable. Phew! Im exhausted just thinking (and writing) about all this. You all need to know that NONE of this would have happened without my number one fan - the person who pushed me and challenged me to put my thoughts into words; the person who believes in me, the person who had faith it would get published.
