Thank you everyone for your continued love support and prayers. Sorry I have not posted much this week, we have been waiting on biopsy results. We got to come home on Monday and we spoke with Dr. Randy this morning and some results are in and Dyllan does have some kidney damage as expected. Theres a lot going on with them but we suspect the damage is from the long term medication use for treating his viruses he contracted from being so immunosuppressed ( cidofivor ). Although the medicine is kidney toxic he would not have been able to fight the viruses without an immune system or the med. We also know the biopsy shows BK virus and inflammation and swelling. There are some results that will not be ready for 1-2 weeks and we are sending more labs for other testing tomorrow. We are praying for this journey to get easier for Dyllan each new day,although it seems impossible. We look back to when he was diagnosed not ever knowing what a future he would have and here we are now, We are so grateful and blessed to have him today. There are many side effects we knew come along with a BMT, but we were never expecting anything like Dyllan has gone through. It is definitely eye opening and has made our family stronger better people in life. We are still very hopeful and will never give up our FAITH in the lord for his continued healing upon Dyllan. We have seen him overcome the impossible and know he has become a FIGHTER and will continue fighting. We are truly blessed for Dyllan and his healing. Please continued prayers for him as we figure out whats next on this journey and pray for his strength and courage and healing of his kidneys so we can move forward to being a kid again.
