Thank you for adding me to the group Jay. :-) I attended my first gathering in the early 90s in Vermont when i was just 17 and it changed my life! I havent been able to make a national since 2003 Utah and look forward to being able to attend this year. I am an restoration ecologist by trade and look forward to being able to contribute my knowledge to helping the gathering be as sustainable and environmentally healthy as possible for people and all Mother Earths creations. I have not heard good things about last years trash situation in Montana--perhaps someone can set me straight on exactly what happened, but I hear that money was spent to send trash to landfills and recycling was not what it should have been. Also that locals were upset with the conditions that the site was left in. Now granted, I understand that Montana is a very conservative state and many dont approve of our lifestyles but I am wondering how much truth there is too these rumors and how we can improve this year.
