Thank you for all the prayers and support. Many of you know, but - TopicsExpress

Thank you for all the prayers and support. Many of you know, but for those that dont, Rachael and I recently had our hearts broken by our elementary school. I wont say which one but we have learned that they were putting Dillon in a dark janitors closet for punishment. The teachers aide sits in the closet with him and some light filters in from the kitchen. To my knowledge it happened multiple times and only to my son. For those that do not know, Dillion has Cerebral Palsy, hydrocephalus with two brain shunts , epilepsy , and damage to his frontal brain lobe from a brain bleed he incurred at birth. He can only walk in a walker. He is not able to tell us about this but it was witnessed by a visitor of the school. He was jerked up from the lunch table and dragged to the closet, not affording him the dignity of walking in his walker or even being carried; just dragged. Both my boys will now change schools which is hardly fair to Conner because he loves the school. For those telling me to file a lawsuit, let me say this. You practically have a better chance of being hit by fallen aircraft debris than successfully suing a school district. If its any consolation the school district seems remorseful. One of my many questions I asked was, does a 7 year old with special needs deserve more dignity than this? For those that know the school we attend please dont mention the name in your comments, just asking for prayers. God is so good to us and we are thankful someone came forward finally.
