It was a same day procedure, so I was out of there as SOON as I woke up and could tell them my name. In at 8 am, out the door at 2 pm. All in all, it was fairly traumatic for me, but not overly so. When they put the IV in, I had to ask the guy how many times have you done this before? to which he replied Not enough to be gentle. You have to TELL me Im the guinea pig today! Otherwise, I may accidentally rip your eyebrow out when you get my blanket bloody just putting an IV in! I thought my husband was going to hit him when I yelped. Poor hubby had to see me freaking out over needles. Im just thankful he was there
