Thank you for allowing us to join this group. My husband and I moved to Moberly Missouri a year ago this last April and we are always looking for ways to discover our new home state. We are often asked where we moved from and when we reply Denver Colorado we always get Why did you move here?. Well lets see - we moved from gangs and crime to peace and quiet, a cookie cutter house to a home that was built by hand by a man who was a carpenter for the railroad. It was built for his wife and has a nice clear feeling to it, a postage stamp yard to 1 and 1/4 acres (our Yorkshires think they are on 2000 acres! lol), from one aspen tree to 30 year old grape vines, pear, apple, persimmon, black walnut, mulberry and hackberry trees, and a living fence of wild grapes, wild tea roses, honeysuckle and trumpet vines. and drum roll please....GRANDDAUGHTERS! As far as we are concerned we have moved to paradise.
