Thank you for being part of 12 days Membangun Rumah (Building a House). Membangun Rumah (Building a House) - is a real and imaginary space, which invites the public to participate, collaborate, reflect, build and create their space among others. The work is one part of series Building a House (1993 - 2003), which was once displayed in a scale of 10x10m, 2002 at Gwangju Biennale - Korea and responded by the public in a one month exhibition. The work and development by public has been presented a couple of days ago as part of the Artist Biography Exhibition Apa kabar Ibu? at Galeri Nasional, Jakarta. The day by day growing bring out diverse traces, symbols, scripts, opinions, energies, memories, imaginations & characters. The process formed certain demeanor, perspectives and understandings which became an open text for everybody and one of the basic idea I work with Jendela Ide - a culture center for children & youth, formed with Andar Manik in 1995.
