Thank you for my nominations ladies. Cancer is such a feared word - the sort of he who must not be named illness. However this week the word cancer has crossed so many minds, been spoken by so many mouths and read by so many eyes. I believe #cancerawareness has raised its bar and with the help of the controversial social media storm both women and men, young and old have been encouraged to make small gestures that together can make a big difference. Its a fact - cancer will target 1 in 3 of us, however in reality, cancer will affect each and every one of us. I think I speak for the whole Yellow Dot family tree - Nadine you havent left our minds since you shared your story and my god what a ridiculously strong inspirational Mamma D you are! So here it is, my small gesture, my #nomakeupselfie - dedicated to each and every one of you touching up your make-up on to show the world your brave faces. I endeavour to raise awareness to the most important lady in my life - my niece. And to always remind her what my mum has taught me - the most important thing in life is health and happiness :)
