Thank you for nominating me Nina for the ALS challenge, but I wont be donating money to ALS after reading some facts about this charity, I know that only a small percentage of the money raised will actually go towards the cause, which I know is very wrong of this organisation. I know that they have already raised millions, so lets see what they do with all this money. After all the research I have done I decided to donate to a different charity, I will be donating to the Food For Life charity. Food for Life is the worlds largest non-profit food relief organization with projects in over 60 countries. Volunteers serve more than 1,500,000 free meals daily in a variety of ways, including: food vans serving to the homeless within major cities around the world; lunch time meals for poor school children throughout India; and also in response to large natural disasters, such as the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. I have previously given to this charity directly to the volunteers and seen the results of the work which they have done to feed Orphans and very poor people all over the world. This is why I chose to give my donation to a charity where I can see good results and every penny goes to the cause. ~ Written by Saroj Buch
