Thank you for visiting the United States Lightweight Men’s Eight team page, and for supporting our fundraising efforts toward bringing home gold from the 2013 World Rowing Championships in Chungju, South Korea (August 26 – September 1). After a summer of selection in Boston, MA, the nine athletes that will represent the United States as the LM8+ entry in Korea are: Bow.............David Morgenstern 2.................Bryan Pape 3.................Tobin McGee 4.................Brendan Mulvey 5.................Dorian Weber 6.................Josh Getz 7.................Peter Gibson 8.................Sean Gibel Coxswain.....Michael Hwang As a non-Olympic class boat, all expenses associated with the trip are completely self-funded by the athletes of this boat. These expenses include airline tickets, boat/oar rental, lodging, ground transportation, and food, among others. The projected cost amounts to ~$4,000.00 per athlete, totaling ~$36,000.00 for the traveling team. Thus, we are soliciting donations to help defray the costs associated with the trip.
