Thank you for your love and light everyone! Melissa and her boyfriend are okay as is everyone else who was involved. Heres what happened: Car one: tire blows, spin out on freeway. Stops and promptly puts out flares. Car two: comes up on the spun out car and breaks suddenly. Car three, Melissas boyfriends car driven by him: directly behind car two but cant change lanes because there is a car to his right so he slams into the back of car two. Good and hard. Hard enough to likely call the car totaled. He was turned about 45 degrees into the guardrail so that... Car four (Melissas car that she was driving) hit him in a hybrid t-bone + sideswipe action totally caving in the right side of his car and pushing her front drivers side headlight into the guardrail. Her boyfriend was so concerned that she was okay that he was by her side in an instant and she was so concerned that she had hurt him that she was so happy he was there with her and okay. We happened to be out and about (about 10-12 minutes away) so we hopped in the car and drove straight to them. Thankfully no one was hurt though Melis was a bit shaken, understandably. It wasnt helped by the fact that she just worked two long shifts at work with not much sleep between and hadnt eaten in a while. We are all home and safe now and Im feeling SUPER grateful that everyone is okay.
