Thank you for your love, support and prayers. Yesterday was the hardest yet in dealing with SDS. It was long and exhausting. 13 hours after pre-op we got into a room. My poor boy had so much blood work, some attempted by new staff, and after several unsuccessful attempts I had to put a stop to it. I may be secretly blacklisted from the hospital, but any mother can relate that there is only so much you can allow a child to endure before the lioness jumps out to protect her cub. On a positive note, there does not appear to be any internal bleeding from his (multiple) liver pokes needed due to those uncontrollable hiccups! His bone marrow biopsy went smoothly. We are being discharged. My prince is sleeping. Now the second stage of waiting begins...the waiting for the AML and liver tissue results. We should have preliminary results by Friday, more detailed info by next weekend and the full review in a few weeks. Again, thank you for lifting us up during this difficult time. XO, Team Ronin
