Thank you guys( Shruti di and Surabhi ) for nominating me for Book Bucket Challenge. But you sure got me in a situation. I am not much of reader of books compared to comics :D. I like comics a lot. So my list will contain references to manga/comics also. I invite Rakesh Hitesh Ranjana Pin Neelangana Smruti Suchita Sneha Isha and Venkatesh to write down 10 books which inspired or made you happy. 1. Harry Potter series - expanding imagination. 2. Secret Seven series - childhood conspiracy games. :D 3. Superman - as an embodiment of hope that there exists a saviour for all of us -- not literally. 4. Spiderman - as another embodiment of hope. That we being normal folks as Peter Parker was, we need to keep fighting and hold on to hope for us and be hope for others. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live. Amazing spiderman quote - modified to fit. 5. Batman - I just like the comics. No reason. Awesome villains and awesome Batman. 6. Naruto Manga - Its filled with many things. Humor, Action, Vivid imagination, a complete package for me. :D 7. Shiva mythology series - an alternate take on mythology. 8. Nagraj, Dhruva - Raj Comics series - I am just happy that something is happening in the comic sphere of India, there are a lot new other comics also. 9. Vishnuprana (havent read all of it, yet to finish) - Amazing stories. 10. Indias struggle for for Independence - A very good comprehensive telling of our freedom.
