Look at the Beatles, simple songs but goes a long way. For this hostel, its the people that make the place. I mean the beds are comfy, the breakfast is nice and filling (help yourself), its clean, and you can have a warm shower. But the people make you feel amazingly welcome. From the minute we got picked up from the airport by the happy, friendly and ever enthusiastic owner Carlos, to the moment we left, these guys go out of their way to make sure you have the best time in Rio and patiently answer all your questions and help book things over the phone for you. Make sure you check out the local restaurant to the left of the hostel as you look out - its in a caged area but awesome and cheap food, plus strong cheap Caipirinha. Its really safe to walk about in this area btw. Enjoy. Thank you Carlos, Solano & co - you really made Rio for us.
