Thank you so very much to everyone who has so selflessly helped me - TopicsExpress

Thank you so very much to everyone who has so selflessly helped me with your kindness, encouragement, and generous donations. My appointment with the VA rent assistance case worker went better than I expected, and they will be contacting my property manager today or tomorrow to advise him that they will be paying my November rent on my behalf, but cannot do so by the Saturday deadline the owner gave me. I believe the property manager and owner will accept this. I also received notice that I should start receiving my unemployment within 7-10 days (next week), which will keep me on track for the next 4 months, and Im confident that I will secure another full-time, long-term, permanent job much sooner than that. Heres hoping and praying! Once I receive confirmation from my case worker that my property manager and owner will accept payment past the deadline, I will be ending this campaign. I am not someone who asks for help to begin with, and I am certainly not someone who will continue to ask for the help once I have enough of it. With the VA helping me with my rent, the help I have received here (which again, will be paid back/paid forward!), and my unemployment starting next week, I am finally in the position of not losing my apartment or my car, and I can finally pay all of my past due monthly bills, and just as important, pay for Romeos ashes, which they have so graciously kept safe for me until I could paid for them. God has truly blessed me with you. Every one of you and a few who couldnt donate have been my very unexpected Guardian Angels on Earth, and honestly, I could NOT have gotten through any of this without Him blessing me with your love, kindness, encouragement, generosity, donations, hugs, kisses, and stories of similar situations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me from losing it all, in more ways than I can say here. You held my broken heart so gently as I worked to get through this, and I will forever be changed from it, never to forget it. Im someone who tries to pay it forward when I can anyway, but this experience with all of you has given that a whole new meaning and purpose. I am so grateful for learning this lesson from each of you. Thank you again, and I will be in touch to let you know what happens next. I pray that God blesses me with a Thanksgiving where I can actually say that I am thankful for my new job! p.s. I had to attach a pic of Romeo so you could see just how cute he really was. How could you not love that handsome little guy? : )
