Thank you to Ron Nilson for helping so much during this campaign and writing a letter to the editor which explains how politics and views have shifted over the years in Kootenai County. Currently, there are deep divides among Republicans in the area and we need a team that is willing to work together for all citizens. We have worked hard meeting with residents in District 3, talking and working with local businesses to help find solutions to their current challenges and discussing the importance of education for our children. I am lucky to have such strong support from Ron and appreciate all he has done to help. Why Pat Whalen over Bob Nonini? There are some basic questions when choosing a person for public office: • Can you trust this person? • Do they have the character to represent you? • Will they listen to all viewpoints and then make a respectful decision? Asking these above questions of Pat Whalen, I can say definitely YES! Pat is a person you can trust. I started my business here in Post Falls back in 2001 and over time got to know many people. District #3 was my district, and I was excited to get to know my local state representatives. Over the years I spent time with all the legislators in my district: Dick Compton, Jim Hammond, Frank Henderson and Bob Nonini. I was even Bob Nonini’s campaign manager back in 2006. The big question: You have to ask, why do Governor Otter, Frank Henderson, Jim Hammond, Dick Compton, Clay Larkin and I all support Pat Whalen over Nonini?
