Thank you to all for the outpouring of love and support for us concerning Gracies passing. It is very much appreciated. This is the last photo we have of Gracie, as it turns out anyone who knows her would say fittingly so. This was taken just last Monday night before her cancer took an abrupt turn for the worse. She was getting ready for tomorrows event -- going as Tippi Hedren in The Birds sitting in a large movie screen. Im sharing this because this is partly how well remember her. She got so incredibly excited over putting on a costume (because it meant a slew of treats), and adored the attention she got when she had it on. And because we know that her viral photos brought smiles to a lot of people -- in just so many ways, its nice to have this as our last. We joked about her being an old diva the likes of Elaine Stritch and Judy Garland, and that she had a Rags to Riches story. But that part was true -- a rescue from an awful life in a puppy mill, to our home -- where she made our lives so much better. Thanks again to all for your posts.
